Speranza is crowed with good reasons. The moments I am at the entrance , the friendly host greeting me and guided me inside the restaurant. It is so welcoming .

The linguini Alla botarga is my absolute favorite and I cannot find a substitute from any other restaurant in LA. It's next level.

Small cozy place with friendly and attentive staff! As a transplant from the east coast, it's a little more difficult to find quality Italian restaurants here with homemade pasta dishes. Speranza definitely stands out as one of the best options in LA!

Speranza has become one of my new favourite places for food and wine with my girlfriends! Very cute, mostly outdoor restaurant this place is intimate yet funky, romantic yet casual and literally the perfect restaurant no matter the occasion! My favourite dish on the menu is the squid ink pasta- super flavorful and really interesting! The wait staff always give you a nod of approval if you pick this menu item! They also have a crazy good bruschetta appetizer special. The cheese goes perfectly with the bread they serve when you first sit down.Grab a bottle of wine, some food and enjoy this absolute GEM!

Service was awesome. Its actually a pretty cheap price for a nice ambiance and Italian food in LA.

I booked a table and they made me wait 49 minutes and still didn’t give me a table. So go there if you wanna wait forever and get no table even though you had a reservation

It’s absurd that they only allow you to pay with maximum 3 credit cards. We were a big party and spent a lot of money. Food was ok, nothing great. The pesto was mediocre at best. Service was very slow to bring the food and VERY slow when we wanted to pay the check.At the end the waiter came to find us at the door and was quite rude because he thought we didn't leave tip (maybe we should have). Of course we did leave tip, it was included in the totals. In general a bad experience, expensive, average food and slow service.

Great ambiance, love the trees and outdoor forest feel. Had very nice service. The food was excellent going in-- we overate and had a nice time. The only draw back was that both of us felt gassy and bad afterwards and not just from overeating. I think there's an abundance of onions in the sauces or garlic perhaps. I'll still go back. Will just try to side step the tomato sauces.

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Food is fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. The atmosphere is cozy, relaxed, and matches the vibe of the service. Our server, Michael, was one of the most delightful people I've encountered in the restaurant business. He was knowledgeable, unafraid to give genuine recommendations, and incredibly personable. I wish I lived in LA; if I did, I would frequent this place for the amazing food, atmosphere, and service.

Place smells amazing and makes you definitely want to eat here. They also treat the delivery drivers very professionally and food is always hot when arives.

The food is good it's just that they don't offer typical meats, like chicken and meatballs, in their pastas.

AMAZING Italian restaurant. Homemade pasta, excellent wine selection, wonderfully cooked meats, and great appetizers. Only thing that I cannot comment on is the dessert since I am very sensitive to sugars I tend to stay away. This restaurant is worth it. It is always crowded but not too crowded and certainly not too noisy. It is a wonderful restaurant for a nice date or for a nice dinner out with friends/family. It is really not great for children. I highly recommend.

Fantastic place with great Italian food, good wines, good service, and fair prices. Super nice to sit outside as well as indoor with a kitchen view. We love it there and we will definitely come back when we are in L.A.

All good , the Tête de Moine was a revelation. I always forget about this place and so I get to rediscover it constantly. It was a great place to hunker down while the Seige of Trader Joe's dragged on. The service is really outstanding, too

Nice evening and nice dinner.Got a table in the back, the lush garden.Our server was very helpful with wine recommendations. I got the endive and gorgonzola cheese salad with walnuts.The bread and olive oil were good.Salad was just OK.The Old Vine Zinfandel was delicious. I got the swordfish and arugula. Others got pasta with bolognese sauce, pasta with clams and garlic, and the squid ink pasta.Everything was delicious. Of course we ordered the pasta al dente, and dinner was delicious. Dessert was tiramisu, And it was OK.Definitely worth coming back.Service and atmosphere made the evening so enjoyable.

Wish I could rate 7 stars. I’ve been here many times over the years and at this point, I’ve basically tried everything on the menu and been delighted with everything. The squid ink pasta is a particular favorite. Also notable is the wine selection, friendly staff, and great ambiance. Love the outdoor feel, wish I could eat here everyday.

Good quality Italian food. Great service. If you want an impressive atmosphere, this is not the place. The place is comfortable and casual and looks like it has been assembled from pieces collected at yard sales. With that in mind, Speranza is unique and a value for an evening meal. I would not recommend bringing small children though. Reasonably priced but remember this is LA.

I lived in Napoli for 3 years when I was younger. I ate arguably, some of the best Italian food in the world during my time there; this place is comparable.

Good pasta, but can get crowded.

Food was great. But even McDonald's spends the money on artificial sweeteners for their customers who can't use sugar. This restaurant requires that you bring your own. With the price of their food they could afford it.

Outstanding food and service! Rigatoni with Italian sausage is delicious and so is the pork chop. Great food, laid back setting. Have been in Los Angeles for 3 months and have already been to Speranza 3 times. We love it and highly recommend!
